Hello Peeps,
I've been meaning to post an update here for ages! I originally meant to post a pointer to the WGW photos back in Oct/Nov 2008, but somehow I didn't. So this is it, just in case anyone who's interested hasn't already seen them. And now I also have some photos on-line from All About New Year's Eve 2008/2009. As usual, they are on Insights. (Look at the latest 7 sets).
There are also some extra photos on Flickr, including portraits, band-shots & other random stuff that I'll add to once in a while.

Yes - t'is I! It's photo time again for those who may be interested, although apologies if it's old news to some of you. It's taken me a while to get round to mentioning it in my bloggy areas!

Greetings Fellow Blogglings!
Well it took a while, but the photos from the recent New Year's bash in Whitby are now on Insights for your persual. (Apologies to those who have already seen them). As usual, it was a fantastic way to bring in the New Year, and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves (or someone else!).
I couldn't be there for the first night of All About New Year's Eve, so the photos cover the second and third nights and New Year's Day, when I felt pretty ropey so didn't take very many (did I hear a cheer there?!). I would also like to say thanks to Cate and the other folks who kindly took the photos in which I appear, just to prove I was really there. I'm not used to editing photos with me in them!!

Belatedly, and just in case anyone's missed it, my new WGW photos are now on-line at:

For those of you wanting to view the photos at a larger size, you can configure Fotopic by selecting "Optimise Now!" in the browser configuration box on the right of the main menu page.
As a side-note, I realised during the weekend that my lens was giving blurred results on 30% of most images, so some photos are slightly fuzzy in parts. The lens (and camera!) have now been replaced under warranty. I know - a poor work-man blames his tools, etc. But as a back-up excuse, I'd also like to point out that "I was very, very drunk" ... |

| "All About New Year's Eve" - Photo DVD |

For those who attended "All About New Year's Eve" and would be interested in a "director's cut" photo DVD, please let me know. It contains the original photos (accessible through a PC with a DVD drive) and it should also play as a slideshow on a standard DVD player. It basically contains all the website photos and lots of others that I didn't use. That's about 570 photos in total from days 2 and 3 of the AANYE weekend.
If there are just a handful of you interested, then I'll not ask anything for postage etc, except to suggest buying me a drink when you next see me (probably at Whitby). But if there is a larger than expected demand, I may have to ask for something just to cover materials + P&P - though I don't know how I'd actually organise that yet! (However, if anyone's just after the full version of just one or two specific photos rather than the whole set, I can of course get them to you via email instead).
If you are interested, please reply to this post and make sure I know your email address. Then when I know how many I need to produce, I can get back to you. I will obviously need postal addresses at some stage too, but you can email me those later.
** Incidentally, plan A was to do this to raise some money for charideee, but the logistics started getting a bit out of hand so we've kept it low-key after all - but don't let that stop you donating to your fave charity if you want to! |

| I'm Back! But Now I'm Off To Sleep For A While... |

Just a quick "hi" & "sorry" to those of you who have not had any reply from me in the last day or two but probably should have. I've been concentrating on finishing the All About New Years Eve 2005/6 photo galleries, which I've now done (apart from some inevitable post-publication tweaks). It was tricky whittling down the 700 or so photos, and I'm still not sure I've made the best selection! But that's where the potential CD/DVD might be of interest to some of you, though I have yet more editing to do before that can be ready!
Anyway, Hazel will probably be announcing the photos today (Saturday) and will provide links that go via the AANYE website (http://www.allaboutnewyearseve.co.uk/). And then, after I've had sleep(!), got my car's exhaust fixed, been to a friend's kid's party, etc, I'll try to catch up with everyone again by LJ & email.
